Welcome 4A Families!

This website is dedicated to providing information about fourth grade at Villa.  You will also be able to access news specific to the 4A class.  Newsletters will be available twice a month and you can view photos of our class engaged in all kinds of learning activities and fun.

Fourth grade is a transitional year.  The primary years have ended and students are now entering a new level of academic and social expectations.  During the fourth grade year, we will be working to instill in the students a sense of personal responsibility.  This can take the form of getting assignments done by themselves, being organized, planning ahead to complete assignments on time and owning up to mistakes.  You can help by “letting go” just a little more this year and allowing your child to make his or her own mistakes.

I am a proudly made Catholic-school individual, who believes in educating children as a whole person.  I love my students to question and explore new opportunities, all the while, learning along the way. Before teaching at Villa, I taught fourth grade in Northern California at a small Catholic Elementary school. Being new to the Northwest, outside of school I love exploring Seattle, running, and baking anything and everything.
